Beth joined Mark Pinner's training squad in Stafford after being 'discovered' throwing a foam Javelin in a Primary School Sportshall. She has been supported by Welsh Athletics from the age of 13, representing Wales internationally at U14, U16, U18 and senior levels and is currently Welsh U20 and Senior Champion. Beth has also represented GB Juniors while winning the Silver medal at the Manchester International. In the last two years Beth has won the English Schools championships twice, Sainsbury's School Games twice,  a Gold and Silver in SIAB (Schools International) and a Gold and Silver at the England Championships.

This season's highlights have been representing Wales and coming 4th at the Loughborough International with a personal best, coming 4th in the British Championships (including World Team Trials) also with a personal best, and Winning the English Schools Senior Girls championships by over 4 metres.

Beth has been on top of her age group for the last 4 years and is currently 6th in the Senior UK rankings and 2nd in the U20 rankings.

Her short term targets are to get past the 50m barrier and then to qualify for next year's World Junior Championships in Finland.
