CHRIS STONE - 100/200m

Chris started playing sunday league football from the age of 6 until he was about 16 or 17. He was always playing on the left wing because of his speed. In 2011 he quit football to start a fresh sport and knowing that he was fast, Chris chose to take up athletics. He has only been sprinting seriously for about 5 years now, taking his 100m personal best from 12.20 to 10.41 and 200m personal best from 24.00 to 20.92. At the moment he runs for Bristol and West Ac and has been coached by Connell Macquisten for the past year and half. An interesting fact about Chris is that he has had stammer for as long as he can remember, but he is currently working on controlling, if not curing, it. Chris hopes to help people overcome stammers in the future.
