Diani Walker - 100/200m

Biography:

Diani walker is a 100m and 200m sprinter for the club Birchfield Harriers. She is based between Birmingham and London, due to being coached by Lloyd Cowan and Clarence Callander in East London.

 

Diani studied at Middlesex University, whom she competed for at BUCS throughout 2016-2018, to gain a Silver and Bronze medal in 2017 and then stormed to being BUCS 100m champion in 2018 as a season opener. 

 

Diani has represented England during her early U20 career and right through to her young senior career in the 60m, 100m and Relay disciplines. She is a British championship bronze medalist, double England U23 Silver medalist in the 100m and later became England senior 200m bronze medalist and 100m champion in the time of 11.45 in 2017, to then represent England internationally at Manchester international where she took the win. 

 

She represented Great Britain at the European U23 championships and looks forward to competing for Great Britain during her early senior career, after coming back from a severe Knee injury, which caused her to end her season in June 2018-July 2019 season, as she was going through surgery and rehab to be back at her best and more.
