Ellen Barber competes in the Heptathlon with a personal best of 5699 points. In 2016 Ellen became English Schools champion for the Heptathlon and she was ranked 2nd in England. In her last year as an U20 Ellen was selected to represent England. At the England U20 Combined Events Ellen came away with a third in 2016. She was also Midland Champion. Ellen has also won the South of England Combined events in 2015. Ellen is currently on a year out and going to Loughborough University in September.

Interests: Ellen used to event ride nationally before she took up athletics. She does many commission paintings in her spare time and loves her dogs.

Goals: She aims to represent great Britain and England and strives to get the European Heptathlon qualifier with the standard of 5,600 points.

Future Goals: She wants to compete in the Commonwealth Games, European and World Championships, and Olympic Games.
