FREYA JONES - JAVELIN

Biography:

Freya Jones is a GB/England Javelin thrower from Hampshire competing for Newham Essex Beagles with a Personal Best of 55.36.

Freya competed for the University of Georgia in America and won the Division 1 National Collegiate Championships (NCAA) in 2014. In the same year she was selected to compete for England at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland. In 2020 she was ranked No.1 in the UK and became British Champion. 

Freya hopes to develop over the next year to compete internationally and break the 60m mark.

5th World Youth Olympics (2010)

4th World Schools Championships

Double Drake Relays Champion

NCAA D1 National Champion

2019 England Champs Silver Medalist

Outside of Athletics, Freya runs the Track and Field team for College Sports America, one of Europe’s largest recruitment agencies for helping athletes through the process of getting sport Scholarships to American universities.
