HANNAH MOAT - HIGH JUMP

Biography:

Hannah is an international high jumper who has so far represented GB U20s, England U20s and England U18s.  In 2018, she became the English Schools bronze medalist in the Intermediate girls High Jump.  Northern indoor and outdoor U17 champion and UK School Games bronze medalist.

Following a highly successful 2019 indoor season moving into the U20 age group, Hannah finished as the no.1 indoor ranked athlete with a new PB of 1.78cm.  She became the U20 Welsh International champion, the England bronze medalist and the Northern champion.  This success secured her the GB U20 Team selection for the Loughborough International in May, her first Senior competition.  During the 2019 outdoor season Hannah secured the Senior Girls bronze medal at the English Schools Championships in July (her third successive year of a podium finish), became the outdoor U20 Northern champion, represented England North to become Champion at the outdoor Welsh International in Cardiff and also represented England U18s in Dublin at the Youth Nations Cup winning the silver medal.

Goals

Hannah's goals are to continue to compete at a high level gaining GB and England Junior selections, aiming for the World Juniors in 2020. Her long term goals are to compete for GB and England at senior levels.

Interests

Outside athletics and studying for her A Levels, Hannah enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She used to play netball where her school team made it to the Regional championships.
