HERMIONE PLUMPTRE - 400M HURDLES
Hermione is a 400m Hurdler living and training in Berlin. She was an England Lacrosse player for 5+ years and has always been happiest when involved in high level competitive sport, coming back to athletics only properly in 2014.
Her greatest’s achievements to date are; British Championship Finalist 2018 for 400mh, 11th in the UK rankings 2018 for 400mh, Bronze medallist at South of England Championships 2018, 6th at Senior English Championships 2018 for 400mh, Midland indoor 400m silver medallist (2017).
After a major back injury in 2015 Hermione is now in the best shape she’s ever been in taking 3.5 seconds off her personal best in the 2018 season and aiming to do the same in 2019 with the dream of medalling at British Trials 2019.

Hermione is a fully qualified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach, studying to be a Level 4 Qualified Strength and Conditioning Coach. She really enjoys learning everything she can to be not only be a better athlete herself but also to help others become stronger fitter, faster and more mobile. She is really interested in cooking and nutrition, learning about the effects of specific nutrition to assist with training recovery, and has also competed in a UKDFBA Bikini Physique competition, dieting and training herself into stage shape.
She loves to take photos, paint and sketch when people want commissions, as she studied Fine Art at university. With training her clients around training, herself she doesn’t have much time to relax but when
she does her favourite thing is to spend time with her family and boyfriend surrounded by as many pets as possible.
Make the final of British Trials 2019 and Medal,
Be within the Top 5 for 400mh in the U.K., To represent England and Great Britain in an International Competition.
Become British Champion over 400mh, Compete at a Commonwealth Games, European Championships, World Championships and Olympic Games in either 400mh or as part of a 4x400m relay
