JENNA BLUNDELL - HEPTATHLON



Biography:
Over the past few years, Jenna has competed Nationally in Heptathlon and Hurdles events. Her favourite event is the 100m hurdles in which she achieved a Gold during the 2019 English Schools Championships. She has gone on to represent Great Britain at the International Indoor Combined Events Match. She took part in the outdoor IAAF Combined Events Challenge in Arona where she took Gold. At the International Match in Manchester she represented the Great Britain Junior Team and got bronze in the 100m hurdles. Other achievements include a team gold and individual bronze at the World Schools Cup held in Split, Croatia where she represented England. Jenna has also competed for England at the Welsh Athletics International and other indoor hurdles and pentathlon podium events. These have been achieved post stress fracture that developed in the 2017 season.

Interests:
Jenna loves travelling and exploring and is also an adrenaline junkie that loves doing activities that are different and crazy, such as skydiving at 10,000ft in South Africa. Jenna also enjoys having fun with friends and family and meeting new people. She likes to keep herself busy outside of training and competitions as it is important to her so that she can have mental breaks from athletics.
Goals: Jenna's aim is to represent Great Britain and England and to compete internationally as a junior.
Short term goal: is to represent Great Britain at the U23 European Championships and for England at the 2022 commonwealth games.
Future Goals: Jenna aims to compete at the Commonwealth Games, European and World Championships and Olympic Games.
