JENNA BLUNDELL - HEPTATHLON
Jenna competes Nationally in the Heptathlon and hurdles but her favourite event is the 100m hurdles. In 2016 she was the National Silver medallist in 80m hurdles at Bedford and Top 10 at the National Heptathlon Championships. During 2017 Jenna had a stress fracture in her back but came back in 2018 by being 10th in the UK rankings for 100mh hurdles and 0.02 seconds off bronze at English School Championships. Jenna also attempted the European Youth qualifying standard for 100m hurdles and finished 0.06 seconds off while also competing in her first heptathlon back and ending up 8th in the UK rankings.
Jenna ended the 2018 season with a National Heptathlon Bronze in September and 8th in the UK for Long Jump.

Jenna loves travelling and exploring and is also an adrenaline junkie that loves doing activities that are different and crazy, such as skydiving at 10,000ft in South Africa. Jenna also enjoys having fun with friends and family and meeting new people. She likes to keep herself busy outside of training and competitions as it is important to her so that she can have mental breaks from athletics.
Goals: Jenna's aim is to represent Great Britain and England and to compete internationally as a junior.
Future Goals: Jenna aims to compete at the Commonwealth Games, European and World Championships and Olympic Games.
