Yasmin is a 21-year-old 400m sprinter with a Personal Best of 52.21 seconds, set at the 2019 British Championships. Yasmin represented Great Britain for the first time in 2019 at the European under-23 Championships, where she achieved a silver medal in the 4x400m relay with her team. Since then, Yasmin represented Great Britain at European Team Championships in the mixed 4x400m relay, where her team finished first, setting a British Record. In 2019, Yasmin also obtained the titles of BUCS 400m Champion and England 400m Champion. After a successful 2019 season, Yasmin aims to represent Great Britain on the world stage and compete at major championships. She hopes to make the Olympic team this year.


Yasmin is currently a sports scholar at the University of Warwick where she studies Economics. Before starting university, Yasmin lived in The Hague, Netherlands. In her free time, Yasmin enjoys cooking, playing the piano and writing blogs/poetry. Before she started athletics, Yasmin tried her hand at ballet, gymnastics and hockey.
